This time, homes are melting into the ground, ash is falling like snow, and soldiers roam every street, hunting for something they can't name. This time, mothers swear they saw men with flowery heads eating out of trash cans at night and fathers go to work in hazmat suits.

Steve learns from an early age that when your birthday happens to be on Christmas it's easy to be forgotten, overshadowed by the festive lights and holiday traditions. It's fine. Steve accepted it years ago. It's not like he's going to stomp his feet and throw a tantrum demanding people to pay attention to him. Instead, he lies, tells everyone he has plans, and let's them celebrate Christmas the way they really want to. And it works.

Summary
The Wizarding World is weak but celebrates The Dark Lord going into hiding in 1981. There's constant fear of him resurfacing, many theories regarding his whereabouts are circling around. Everyone wants to make the most of that time, reinvent themselves, create colourful art and loud music. People are living in the moment, loving life and throwing parties.
The 80’s is also the time when Mike, Will, Lucas and Dustin start their education at Hogwarts. That party will last at least seven years.

This is a full Hogwarts journey of our beloved party and everyone around them, a story that came to my mind after the great volume one. Everything after it only reassured me of the characters’ potential and the writers' inability to do them justice.
Feathers and Claws is heavily connected to All The Young Dudes by MsKingBean89, as well to the general idea and timeline of the original books. I do not support jk rowling :)
