House should've been arrested after crashing his car into Cuddy's house. She should have every right to be as pissed as she is and call the cops, which she initially did.
Then she took it all back and went radio silent.
If only tragedy wasn't the reason House heard from her again. If only he'd been raised allowed to emote, he'd be a better presence for Rachel. He was too emotionally walled off.
He tells himself he can't have anything to do with her, whatever Lisa said. Even with Wilson's help, what good could come out of raising the child of your ex you weren't on speaking terms with?

“Will?” Mike carefully said. “You okay?”
He startled, shaking his head as if he had woken up from sleeping all of a sudden. His eyes were still heavy and his words were still slurred when he said, “Mm, I’m… I’m okay.”
Another beat of silence. Then,
“Are you ashamed to be with me?”
Mike and Will's relationship has been secret for 2 months. Neither of them want to bring it up, but things build and build until it becomes more of a burden than just a little mutual understanding.
