Summary
Harry had thought he’d been prepared for his first solo tour, and in some ways it is exactly what Harry expected. But in other ways it’s entirely different. It’s lonelier than he remembered, all the waiting around backstage, the endless hours on tour buses, the days he’s so tired he thinks he could melt into the asphalt of a rest stop in the middle of America and happily stay there forever, and the nights he’s too keyed up to sleep. It’s alienating. He feels unmoored, drowning in all of his too-big emotions. Without the chaos of four other boys to keep him distracted, to keep him grounded, he’s afraid it's only a matter of time until he loses himself in it for good.
But then there’s Louis. Through it all, there’s still Louis. Waiting for Harry at the end of every show, ready with a bottle of water and sweet words of praise, beside him in dressing rooms, challenging him to ping pong tournaments to pass the long, empty, waiting hours, and holding him through the restless nights, soothing him with reassurances that he’s there, that he understands, and promising that he will never, ever, let Harry truly get lost.

Ever since he learned that the mark on his inner forearm was the first words his soulmate would ever say to him, Eddie Munson has constantly wondered what fate has stored for him in that aspect. Not that he's desperate or anything, but how is he supposed to find his person if his mark is his last name? That’s like, a total jerk move. But it's okay. After all, he has his whole life ahead of him to find them, and if there’s something he knows for sure, it’s that you always find what you’re looking for where you least expect it.

“It sounds a bit homophobic, though, doesn’t it?” Harry drawls, craning his neck to look at her.
“What does?” Mitch chimes in from across the room. “Congratulations?”
“Yeah…” Harry hums, clearly distracted with his own thoughts. “Like… It’s like I’m saying: you're gay. We get it. Congratu-fucking-lations.”
“I’m pretty sure the addition of ‘fucking’ is what makes it rude, H,” Sarah points out innocently, but she’s smirking.
(Or the one where Louis Tomlinson comes out as gay at the age of thirty and all the other former One Direction members find out through social media. All of them. Harry Styles included.)

“My place is empty, and I’m up anyway,” Steve said. “You could always come over. Smoking weed might do the trick to knock us out.”
Eddie eyes him suspiciously for a moment, as if Steve wasn’t finished. “You know I’m Eddie Munson, right? I’ve already tried weed. Weed is part of my balanced diet.”
Steve fluttered his eyelashes. “But you haven’t tried it with Steve Harrington.”
It's never easy, recovering from the trauma of a battle with the supernatural, but this time Steve has Eddie. And weed. Hopefully one of those two can help him sleep at least.

Summary
Just as he starts to feel the consciousness slipping from him he hears the heavy sound of squelching next to his head, and the strong tail wrapped tightly around his throat goes limp and falls away, a pained dying screech ringing out. Steve gasps for air, and when he looks up he expects to see Nancy standing over him, badass and brave as ever, but-
“You come here often, Pretty Boy?” A gravel-y voice- rough from disuse, teases. Steve wheezes out a disbelieving laugh before promptly blacking out.Or, Billy helps the Fab Four get out of the Upside down, and gives Eddie his big gay blessing.
