He’s supposed to arrest you. He’s supposed to turn you in. Instead, you’ve got him against a wall, shirt ripped, mask off, and a ruby (that you slipped into his belt, thank you very much) burning a hole in his pocket.
He tells himself it’s a mistake. You tell yourself he’s a pretty thing worth keeping.
And really—who’s going to stop you?
