this fic is SO funny it’s so unsirius and there are little marauders hints throughout that i loved. it’s also a gen fic which is refreshing in harry potter! i literally lol’d at multiple points in the fic. 5/5 stars and a giggle!

This is one of the best jegulus fics i’ve ever read. every single one of the characters is thoughtfully written and they all have equally important and unique things going on in their lives which you don’t see a lot. This is a fic that makes my picky heart happy because it!! has!! themes!! The vibes are very similar to The Perks of Being A Wallflower for me. And maybe it’s pretentious to compare a fic to a written novel but it’s true. There are a lot of classic coming of age moments and lots of similar conclusions about life that the characters come to. This is definitely going in my top three jegulus fics!! I also almost cried at a couple of points (didn’t though!). also the ahb!-esque ending 😭😭 it kills me every time

SO FUNNY. classic marauders vibes but with post-atyd characterization and including the slytherin skittles kinda. genuinely HILARIOUS. Also like no angst almost at all besides Walburga’s A+ parenting. the vibes are so good. Jemetius the goldfish. peter being an icon. jily with bi james. aro reg. enrique the neighbors grandson. violent scary marlene. incredible. this is deffo going in my top fave marauders fics!

They truly are in the middle of nowhere: the countryside rushes past, all rolling green hills and vast, endless skies, and it's odious. Sirius wants to murder James with his bare hands.
Sirius and James accidentally find themselves on a Yorkshire farm during lambing season. The farmer’s son thinks that’s a bit annoying, actually.

beneath a big blue sky: wow. this is such a work of love in so many ways. adorable animals (snuffles and cecil) and good lupin parents and i’ve never seen the experience of love described so vividly. it’s so real and magical all at once. god, i loved this fic. definitely a new favorite.
