This is a collection of 100 word ficlets inspired by the PB100 prompts in the Profound Bond discord server.
***Please take note of the tags and maturity rating in the beginning notes on each chapter*** and skip that chapter if not to your taste. I'm not formally tagging overall for everything as they'll be so different.
They're not connected and there will be no continuous thread.
They might be fluff, they might be angst. They'll mostly be Dean/Cas, but there will be some that are Dean & Cas. Other characters will vary as the muse takes me. Please let me know in the comments if there are particular spn characters you want to avoid and I'll make sure to tag for them when relevant, otherwise they'll remain untagged.Any of these might end up as a multichapter fic one day. “Mom died.”
“Oh god, Dean. I’m so sorry. When?”
Static buzzes in Dean’s ears. He hears Cas’ words, but they come out weird. Like a station slightly out of tune or a soundtrack just out of sync. Claire squirms against his shoulder and starts to wail in that full-throated way that newborns do.
“I’m gonna have to call you back,” he rasps with the last of his air.
He glances at the clock. Michael will be home soon, and he hasn’t even thought about what to make for dinner.
“Hey, hey,” he croons, sweeping his fingers over her tiny head. “You’re okay. You’re okay. We can do this.”

The air is just the right amount of morning cool that Dean can sit on the slightly wobbly stool on his cabin’s back porch in his sleep shirt and boxers, with a cup of joe and be perfectly comfortable, while still enjoying the warmth seeping into his palms from the cup. He’s dead, and it’s awesome.
