Summary
Recently retired from pro volleyball, Miya Atsumu is back in his hometown and spends his weekends coaching youth VB, helping his brother with his Onigiri Miya truck at the local farmer's market, and being Tormented by his crush on the farmer Kita Shinsuke, who runs a booth there.
One particularly hot Saturday and a game of pick-up volleyball almost puts Atsumu out of his misery.

“I can’t believe ya dragged my ass outta bed on the one Saturday I could actually sleep in to come sweat an’ suffer in your stuffy lil’ food truck all day. Why are ya even cooking fresh ones right now? We should just be sellin’ the refrigerated ones and callin’ it a day, this heat is killin’ me.”
“Heh. You’re gonna like it today,” Osamu smirks.
“Yeah? Says who??” Atsumu retorts, already wiping sweat from his brow.
“Says those shorts Kita-San is wearing,” Osamu replies over his shoulder. “Remember, if you keel over from…thirst, be sure to rehydrate with somethin’ a little salty for those electrolytes.”
Normally Atsumu would respond to sass like that, but he’s already gone, frantically power-walking through the market looking for a glimpse of his favorite farmer…

Summary
What if Atsumu and Kita went all-in and got married straight out of high school? This fic explores the softer side of Atsumu and Kita as they navigate getting together right as Kita graduates, and getting married a year later after Atsumu graduates.
----------What did they have to lose? Some people will say they’re too young, they haven’t seen enough of life, but Kita wants to see that life with Atsumu, wants to be by his side and have his support in return as they navigate early adulthood and beyond. Kita already isn't looking at Atsumu only as his boyfriend, about to graduate from high school, but as a lifelong partner. Is he willing to make that commitment right now? “Yes” says Kita, smiling. “Yes Atsumu I will marry you. I am all yours and you are mine, and I want to be yer partner in life.”

Akagi’s shoulders are shaking so badly with laughter that he has to put down his drink. Aran just stares. “Spit it out,” he says flatly.
“D’ya think - d’ya think Kita-san could pick me up now?” Atsumu blurts.
Akagi keeps laughing at him. Aran keeps staring. So what! It’s normal! It’s perfectly normal! It’s perfectly normal to have the odd daydream - the odd fantasy about your old high school captain wrapping his strong arms around you and picking you up as you stare deeply into his eyes, so lovely and so golden in the light!

Kenma reluctantly spoons vanilla into his mouth, watching the sun set. And when everything is dusted in stripes of pale orange and purple and gold, he glances at Kuroo’s profile muddled in the shadows of the descending sun, and wonders whether he had somehow accidentally made friends with an impressive sort of boy. The ice-cream melted under his thumb feels maddeningly sticky, like he’ll never wash it away thoroughly enough and it would leave its mark wherever he touched before he could.
Kenma has never really thought of anyone as good-looking before, never really cared enough about these things to notice them. But Kuroo is objectively so, in this light, in this angle—maybe all the time.
