Minho blinks at him, a moment of silence stretching as if time itself has paused, then he suddenly bursts into laughter, catching Jisung off guard.

Summary
in a world where your soulmate tattoo only showed up during a specific season, Han Jisung had come to love winter. He loved the concept of soulmates - loved knowing that someone out there in the whole world, among billions and billions of people, someone was meant to love him and be loved by him in return. His friends call it his "soulmate obsession," and for good reason. He even made a soulmate vow - never loving or touching anyone that wasn't his soulmate - and throughout his entire life, Jisung had been able to keep it perfectly.
Enter Lee Minho - handsome, kind, perfect. Perfectly someone who was slowly but surely making Jisung break his soulmate vow - piece by piece, inch by inch. It was slowly driving Jisung crazy, wanting to keep his promise and at the same time wanting him.
It wasn't his fault Minho felt so right. So right it almost felt like he was his soulmate. But that was just Jisung's wishful thinking, right?

He wanted to keep all of this forever: the warmth under the fabric roof of the pillow fort; the patter of the rain against the window panes; the drowned out sound of a Park Hyo Shin song murmuring from Jisung’s phone underneath the ruffled pile of blankets; the purple glow of the children’s fairy lights that managed to turn all of their physical vices into virtues. It would all be torn down in a few hours, this little world they’d made for themselves, and the universe would soon forget it, so for now they kissed, and their hands etched essays of endearment where they roamed, and they whispered each other’s names against swollen lips.
They’d make the universe wait to take this away.

Summary
Minho’s gaze is intense and unyielding. It’s something Jisung’s never felt or experienced before—being looked at like this. He swears he can feel Minho’s gaze tripping over every inch of his exposed skin, could feel fingertips brushing over his waist—like a stone skipping water, it just went on, and on, and on.
Here’s another moment in time branded onto his brain. If he could pinch just one, and let it carry on forever, Jisung thinks he may choose this.
Something inside him is cracking, splintering apart.
