Summary
Hawks, rising star hero, top thirty before he’s even old enough to make medical decisions for himself, top twenty before he can vote. The mysterious hero from the Safety Commission left behind his old life a long time ago. He gave up his name, his family, even parts of his free will to become the hero he had long dreamed of being. Some call the Commission groomers for what they’ve done to Hawks, others call the Commission dream makers for getting the young man out of his harsh living situation from before. Hawks doesn’t really care. He doesn’t mind making tons of money or being hit on by all sorts of beautiful people on the streets. He doesn’t mind cold nights on rooftops or hard fights that leave him wondering if living is worth it. Oh, and Hawks definitely doesn’t mind the crushing loneliness that weighs on his bright red wings like 100s of pounds of baggage he doesn’t want to get into. Or at least Hawks hadn’t thought about caring until a little chirpy fan starts to follow him around. Once his biggest tiny fan has flown his way into the young hero’s heart, Keigo remembers what it’s like to be loved again.

Summary
Hawks is sixteen. He is sixteen and he is staring at a restrained child in his handlers arms. He is sixteen and he is quite sure that what his handler is asking him to do is against the law, which is weird, because a hero usually enforced the law.
This is where he hears the words he thought he would never hear out of his Handler's mouth. This is where he disobeys a direct order for the first time in his entire life. This is where everything falls apart.
