It was no secret that Shane Hollander loved one thing and one thing only, which was hockey. He spent his free time reading hockey books and watching game tape. He had an entire synthetic rink built at his cottage. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of every hockey stat from the modern era. It was so obvious - the reason he hadn’t fallen in love yet was because he needed to be with another hockey player, someone who cared about the game just as much as he did. Or, at least, almost as much as he did. Hayden didn’t know if there was anyone in the universe that loved it as much as Shane.
And, thankfully, there were twenty-three professional women hockey players in their city!! Sure, that didn’t sound like a lot, especially when you factored in how many of them were probably single, but it was better than nothing!
