Summary
On Halloween Day, Reigen Arataka disappeared. When he is finally found, other than being dirty from staying in the woods and having lost some of his memories, he came back to his old life he and recovered well. With some changes as well: Better grades, an optimistic personality and a better treatment of his parents.
On one hand, while his parents are happy about his changes, they slowly start to develop doubts that this new stranger from the woods is their son, and it’s not helping that he disappears at odd hours of the night and other strange incidents, that they enlist the help of an exorcist from The spirits and such office, believing that it’s a spirit possessing their son and just want him to return to normal and go back home with them.
What they don’t know is that Reigen Arataka, the changeling wants to go back home too.

Summary
They've had this conversation before, in past iterations and other places, and it would go differently every time. Lu Guang supposes he just hoped to avoid it for as long as possible, now that the crises he was aware of were averted, Times Photo Studio was open for work and their life was (mostly) back to normal, but in retrospect maybe it’s something he should’ve addressed sooner.
He doesn’t want to. He’s so very tired.
“Because,” he says in a monotone, even voice, “You died and I restarted the timeline to fix that. And then I failed and had to start over again. And again. I’m not sure how many times it was.”
