Almost forgetting that the mutant next to you was capable of speech, you jumped out of your skin, only bringing a humiliating chuckle out of your mission partner's mouth. "Ain't gon' bite," he shuffled forwards, chest brushing the steering wheel, and grabbed a cigarette from his jeans pocket before tossing it your way.
You had never smoked before, had no idea what to do with the cylinder gripped between your sweaty fingers. In fact, you were a breath away from shaking your head, only Mr Logan had been quicker.
