Summary
The manor lord didn’t bother with finding prey. Prey found him. How many signs does one have to put up before people stop bothering him? Really, they’re at fault for their inevitable demise. But this one was different. Not that he was particularly interesting, or attractive, or remarkable at all, in fact, they resembled a rat in more than one way. But the way they yearned for their Sire, the devotion in their eyes — it was nothing like he’s ever seen, which, for someone who’s over a millennia old, is impressive.
Scott hated being disobeyed, and even more-so, being told what to do. So Pyro’s giving in to his outrageous cravings came right up his alley; He wasn’t sure if they’d been so deferent due to fear, devotion, or something else, but either way he didn’t care. Back when he was a pathetic, helpless, new vampire, he’d probably defer to his sire, if he had a relationship with him. He didn’t exactly talk to his sire after the incident of 1506.

Pyro bared them with a furious snarl.
“YOU!” he heaved, voice hoarse from the burn. “I’M GOING TO KILL YOU!”
Scott didn’t move. Instead, he lifted something from around his neck. A silver cross. It dangled between his fingers.
Pyro recoiled instantly, a hiss ripping from his throat as the metal glinted in the dim light.
“I wouldn’t try that if I were you,” Scott said calmly.An extra from the AU Nobody Has To Understand, thought it can be read on its own as well I believe.
