Summary
Avid watched with a violent shake running through his body as he pulled the axe out of Legundo’s body. This was right. This was how things were meant to go. He assured himself even as a wrong crept up his spine. Marmalade reached out and held onto Avid’s shoulder. They had to do it.
It was hard to rationalise but everything they had experienced suggested that Legundo was the reason they had been trapped here. He knew too much.

Jack Pyrosythe Hemlock found himself travelling to the ruined town of Oakhurst with 15 other travellers, one of whom was his loyal assistant Ivory. Ivory was horribly injured not long before leaving, hanging by a thread at death's door, he did not want another one of his assistants being murdered so he packed up his bags and left. Unbeknownst to the unsuspecting duo, Two out of the group that happened to stumble in this town the same day as them were in disguise, and were lying to everyone. They were Vampires with a wicked and evil to drain the very life out of bodies and recruit humans into their ranks and they planned to make Pyro their first victim.

Oh what if Scott is one of the few that do know it? He seems traditional, after all, he would know in an instant that Pyro made the nest only to fit one! He'd probably even analyze the nest, would come and briefly touch the blanket that wasn't added in yet, and ask in that tone of his: "Not for two, Pyro? Nesting in my den and yet it's only for one?"
And Pyro would stutter, would grab the blanket from his Sire and bare his fangs ever so slightly, "Y-yes Sire, just… felt safer here?"
And he could only hope that Scott would laugh that beautiful laugh of his, grab Pyro's wrist to rub at his gland—making him shudder, making him whine softly—and bare his own fangs in return. "Well, I'm glad to hear that!"

They’d done their best to clear the land of the dark magic that had been cast upon it eight hundred years prior. All the beacons that Abolish’s Shadow Organization hadn’t taken had been carefully dismantled. Each and every crypt had been meticulously sealed up. And the old, empty castle that once loomed dark and sinister over their woods had been turned into a concert venue that hosted dozens of raves each year. Shelby’s suggestion. She was still salty about having had to put so much effort into helping to build their ballroom, only for it to never be used.
Unfortunately, Oakhurst was the one place where no good deed ever went unpunished.

A Perfect World Away where Avid doesn't actually die!
Although, the coven has many, many flaws and many follies that need to be corrected. Avid being staked certainly isn't the first real problem, nor is it the most important to the coven's integrity. They have many, many things that must be done if they want to get out of Oakhurst still functioning.
Includes character re-development for Pyro, Owen, Legundo, and Shelby (And Scott and Avid ofc) that's mostly centered on their relationship or connection to Pyro and Owen 'killing' Avid.
Small developments on Pearl, Drift, and Cleo, but more as an extension of something else than their own storyline.
There's seldom development for characters Martyn, Ren, Apo, Cleo, Abolish, and Sausage. That group is generally the same relevance as they are in Scott's episode 8 for reference.Feel free to ignore the RPF tags. This is not RPF, but when I clicked "enter" when tagging it just auto-selected and I can't be assed to change it.

Summary
A VampiresSMP AU that explores Majorscythe as something that started with romantic potential, though it's quickly twisted into something much more sinister once the power dynamic is established. The series as a whole is focused on Pyro and his dynamic with Scott, but each fledgling has time dedicated to them via their turning fics. Explores themes of sexual assault and Vampirism being an allegory for rape, specifically for Pyro. Reader discression advised, please mind the tags.
Also it takes longer for vampires to turn, and some of the townsfolk are less willing to just run off into the forest alone to look for beacons. Everything takes a little bit longer!
