“What is it?” Isen sighed, picking up on the comment and turning around in his swivel chair.
The redhead slammed down his laptop in a hurry. “Nothing! Nothing. Get back to work.” The other boy raised an eyebrow but dropped the topic and continued on with his homework. Blyke let out a sigh of relief in a totally non-conspicuous way and — giving his notoriously nosy friend another quick glance, opened a new tab on his phone. Then he checked the bookmarked page.
‘No fucking way,’ He screamed mentally, ‘KuDoesToTheAuthor finally updated the fic.’
…In another side of Wellston Academy, John H. Doe breathed a sigh of relief as well for a completely different reason. ‘Fucking finally,’ he closed a tab after giving it his last read through, ‘No beta we die like men.’
