"-apa! Please, you have to save Mama! He told me to get you," Katsuki felt his soul shake at the voice of his son. It was shaky with fear and paranoia, but Katsuki thought it was the most beautiful thing he's heard. "Down this way!"
"Left! He's right there, Mama! Mama, I brought Papa!" His son squeaks, wriggling out of his arms once he skids to a halt after taking the sharp left. He watches his son come to a stop right next to an Omega covered in debris, tucked in a ratty sweater, and bleeding.
Katsuki gently heaved the small Omega into his arms, nearly keening in agony at how light the Omega was. As he did, the Omega's head lolled against his chest, and a withered breath was taken. "Ka-..cchan,"
Izuku fucking Midoriya.

“Are.. you going to take One For All away?” He finally spoke after a long moment of silence, eyes unable to meet his mentor’s.
Another pause. “No.” All MIght spoke strongly. “Aizawa’s assessment of your character based on throwing a ball is wrong. He was wrong.” Izuku still couldn’t look up. He kept his vision strictly on his obnoxious red shoes.
“But All Might..” He tightened his hands on his pants, knuckled white. “How can I be right, when everyone else is saying I’m wrong?”
There was a comforting weight on Izuku's head, and a soft pat. “By being you, Midoriya my boy.” He softened his voice, Izuku’s eyes watered, and they leaned into one another for an embrace. After a moment, All MIght pulled away and knelt in front of his mentee. “Listen closely, Midoriya.” So of course, Izuku listened. And he still remembers what he heard to this day. “Follow your heart, consult with a clear head, and use your actions,” he had said. “And you will never be truly wrong.”
