“You’re waiting in vain,” said a bored voice from behind.
“Excuse me?” Mista turned to see who was addressing him. A few paces away, half hidden in the shadows, a teen was leaning against a minivan. His hair was funny — a messy outgrown bob with a texture that couldn’t decide whether it was straight or wavy, some strands blond, some ink-black. The way he was looking at him, though, was dead serious.
“They’re not showing A Fistful of Dollars anymore,” explained the teen. “They change the schedule every other week. So if you’re waiting for someone to speak ill of Clint Eastwood, you’re out of luck. Unless you feel just as strongly about Cary Grant.”
Nine months before the events of Vento Aureo, Giorno and Mista run into each other outside the cinema and immediately hit it off.

“Hey,” Mista says, and his voice has suddenly turned into a breathy whisper. “I’m trying to watch the game.”
“You are watching the game."
“I can’t concentrate when you’re doing that.”
They have been together three years, but a couple of fingers brushed against his neck is still enough to get Mista aroused. Giorno smiles, his hand now grabbing a handful of Mista’s hair, giving it a slight tug, making Mista’s breath hitch.
“Doing what?” Giorno asks innocently.

His mother’s laugh, Giorno had learned, could be mocking, or condescending, sometimes lewd, but never genuine, never happy. He hated how easily the men were fooled by that laugh that so obviously was hollow. How it excited them, had them licking their lips in anticipation. How when she started laughing in their laps, their hands would move from around her waist to grab at her thighs instead, or if they were especially crude, move up inside her blouse, in front of everyone to see.

The help of his team might be enough if only he can learn to accept it and with every decision starting to seem like a mistake Giorno may soon figure out that some things are set in stone and not everything can be made right.
The silver lining is that some people seem determined to stand by him through every possibility.Giorno gets stuck in a time-loop and decides he better figure out how to fix things before he loses his much loved sanity.
