The stories included here - for now there will be 3, then I think I will present another 3 - show some cultural differences, and at the same time they are complementary and contextual to my larger story "Cultural Differences". I started reading more about culture, comparing Western and Eastern fanfiction (surprise: they differ hugely in what is considered romantic, desirable behavior, etc. — something I plan to explore in Cultural Differences).

However, those come second to the "caretaker" label given to her on her grandmother's behalf. Time is running out for Grandmother Ikeda and if Kiyoni doesn't find a cure soon, she could kiss both grandma and her ties to Japan a heartbreaking "sayonara".
So how complicated could things be when a bloodsucking, alien nightcrawler with an unknown disease enters the chat especially when border control officer Hiei is taken down? Foreign relations between humans is edgy enough. Could the same can be said for yokai? Only time will tell.
