Summary
The first Wizarding War brought many losses, and it left many orphans.
Harry was adopted by Sirius and Remus after Pettigrew was thrown into Azkaban. He's sorted into Gryffindor, just like his parents were, and he meets Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, and they become best friends.
Draco grew up as the youngest, only non-ginger Weasley. He's sorted into Hufflepuff, and he's hopelessly in love with his brother's best friend.
In Draco's sixth year, with escaped death eaters that seem to be particularly interested in him, rumours that Voldemort might be back for the frist time since Harry Potter defeated him as a baby, and everyone hiding things from him, it seems like his crush on Potter is no longer Draco's biggest problem.

Summary
The Malfoy family lies in ruins. After Lucius Malfoy fails to oust Dumbledore or shut down Hogwarts, his crimes against the wizarding world are revealed. He is sent is to Azkaban, while his wife goes on the run, fleeing the country. Draco is left in the care of the Weasley family. When two killers break out of Azkaban, Draco realizes the family he chooses can be more important than his blood relations and the blood debts that come with his magical heritage.
