Currently, this mindset doesn't matter. Currently you're in bed thinking about how to word the fact you feel hotter than usual, more easily nervous, and a little more impulsive, all around your best friend. And you're starting to wonder if the future might interest you more.

  (basically i wanted to make a johndave fanfic in epilogue style where dirk and john fight over the narrative, don't ask why or HOW john has narration shit (maybe to do with retcon?), i didn't even understand why the hell dirk had it but it adds some pizazz and it's unique...-ish (not sure if it's been done before, i don't avidly read every homestuck fanfic) so SHRUG.)
