Summary
Once, Leon Kennedy was one of the only lights in your world before you two went your separate ways. It was easier for both of you - safer - to go it alone. So much has changed since then, but after the President's daughter is kidnapped, you will both be forced to reckon with the humanity and the feelings you have done your best to forget.

Summary
Leon S. Kennedy, ornery and stubborn and an enigma you long stopped trying to make sense of, never goes home after grueling missions. He comes to you—battered and bruised, with stitches coming out and blood dripping from his wounds, seeking… something. You still haven't figured out what; whether it's comfort, a small handful of little deaths before the morning light, or a gentler hand than his own to rub antiseptic into his cuts.
Whatever it is, you know he finds something in you that he cannot get anywhere else.
Or — in the aftermath of Spain, Leon comes to you.

Summary
“Plastics.” You shrug one shoulder. “Not exactly the specialty you want during the apocalypse.”
Leon stares at you.
“You’re telling me the only doctor left alive in this hospital specializes in nose jobs?”
You don't dignify that with a response.──────•✦•──────
Statistically speaking, a plastic surgeon is not the most useful doctor during a zombie outbreak. Unless a zombie needs a face lift.
Unfortunately, a bioterror attack hits your hospital anyway.
Now you’re stuck surviving a viral outbreak with a tired government agent who keeps getting injured and showing up at your apartment like a very dangerous stray cat.Bookmarked by dynamitequail

Summary
Normal people didn’t get assigned federal agents like they were new lab partners. Then again, normal people didn’t apply for “civilian emotional support liaison,” either.
The waiting area was nice, at least. Plenty of plants, hung and potted, with some of the usual posters you saw in a therapist’s office. Though, this was a government facilitated rehabilitation program for freshly (re)traumatized government agents. The more you thought about it, the more you were curious as to why you were chosen in the first place.
Your new job is simple: provide a calm, stable home for a federal agent on mandatory leave. Be a friendly face. Make sure he remembers to eat.
The agent in question is Leon S. Kennedy: tired, jumpy, and treating your potted fern like a security threat. Your plan to help him relax involves cozy couches, terrible movies, and a truly excessive amount of takeout. It's foolproof!
(Now, if only you could convince him that the toaster isn't a covert listening device, you might actually get somewhere.)
