Summary
You’d know about cell proteins, right, ‘cause you’re a bio major, he said, spent and laid back against the mat. And ‘cause she’d know how Mrs. Paulsen at GA was dead set on flunking out her freshmen students, and ‘cause Dick had nearly flunked out of that class himself, and ‘cause he’d be damned before he asked Bruce.

In between the growing up and the missions and the days-late emergency alerts, sometimes they forget that he isn't—wasn't just Dick's little brother.

Summary
“Of course you’re good at roller skating,” he pouted, crossing his arms over his chest. “I shouldn’t be surprised. I mean, really — what aren’t you good at?”
There was a couple seconds pause as Dick pondered his answer before Wally hardened his gaze, cutting him off with a jab of his finger.
“Don’t answer that,” the redhead grumbled.
-
or, Dick remembers his first date with Wally at the roller rink - or tries to, at least.

Some of them have been friends for years, others are making new ones, some are just beginning to confront their feelings and some are cursed with unrequited ones.

The Voyageurs ask Shane to join FanMail in order to foster a better connection with fans. Internet sleuths start to notice some interesting details in the background of Shane’s videos, and then the internet does...what the internet does.
Or Shane and Ilya are granted an opportunity to come out on their own terms. Sort of. And in they do it in a very Ilya way. (Surprisingly, it is Shane’s idea)

Summary
He knows he could have called Maddie and she would have been there, though the memory of her disappointment last time stopped him. As for everyone else—even if he weren’t prohibited from talking to them by his lawyer, Buck doubts anyone would have come. The last time they talked was when they ran into each other in the grocery store a week back, and, since Buck is not eager for a repeat of that interaction, he doesn’t even consider calling anyone in to hold his hand for what is, he tells himself, probably just another little blip on his road back to the 118.
He is able to convince himself of this up until the moment Dr. Gutierrez walks into his room and says, “Well, Evan, you just can’t seem to do anything the easy way, can you?”
Because, as it turns out, there is a circumstance under which a tiny clot that doesn’t cause you to vomit blood in front of all of your friends and family is worse than three big ones that do: that circumstance is called ‘being on blood thinners.’

In the midst of the lawsuit, Buck is diagnosed with cancer. Dropping the lawsuit is easy. Finding forgiveness, less so.Series

Summary
"It was nothing, Ilya. Don't worry about it."
"Ah," Ilya said, and something like understanding crossed his face. "Was about us, then."
Shane pressed his forehead to Ilya's neck. Of course Shane couldn't just slip this by, of course he would be figured out. He wrapped Ilya up in a hug and moved his hand up and down his back, in a way that he hoped said it doesn't matter.
"He just–after he checked me, I called him a dick, and then he said I'd need my big scary Russian husband to protect me. And then he called you a name, and…"
Shane didn't know how to finish that sentence, so he let it trail off. And it felt so unfair. And I got more angry than I had any reason to. And I hate that I can't go one game without my sex life being brought up in some way. And it's happened a million other times, so why should I have cared on this one specific occasion?
Over the course of the first half of his fifth season on the Centaurs, Shane considers retirement, homophobia, his public life, family, and his legacy. He also gets a tooth knocked out, visits the beach, and is repeatedly pissed off by how hot his husband is.

Summary
When he ends up ditched in Atlanta after a fight with his dad, Tim decides to do the only sensible thing: Tell no one and make the 800 mile journey back to Gotham on his own.
Because the "call Batman when you're in trouble" rule only applies when he's Robin, right?

Summary
The truth is that he’s kept this love on the back burner of his heart for so many years that he’s grown accustomed to the smell and can sometimes almost ignore it completely. He likes to think he’s made peace with the fact that he’ll never know what it tastes like.
