He awoke in Godric's Hollow just in time to hear Voldemort kill James and he watched, helpless, incorporeal, and frustrated as Lily Potter made her sacrifice all over again. When Death pulled him outside (through the wall, no less) he heard a crack and thundering footsteps as someone Apparated into the front garden and dashed upstairs. The noise woke his younger self, and the infant’s wails served as a horrible accompanyment to Snape’s broken sobbing.
THAT, Death said, IS A DIFFERENT HARRY. WHAT IS YOUR NAME?
He coughed and wiped his eyes on his sleeve. “Harrison...Black, I suppose.”

When Jon let his best friend drag him to a bar he’d never been to, in a part of town he didn’t even know, the last thing he wanted was to interact with people.
That was until she walked in.
For the first time in two weeks, Jon managed (even if just a little) to quiet the noise of the five murder cases that wouldn’t leave his head.
She carried a kind of calm, elegance, and humor that pulled him out of it.
But Jon doesn’t really know who she is.
And he has no idea what it might cost him to find out.OR:
The author is still not over them six years later. Naturally, she made it everyone’s problem, threw them into an original crime universe and stuck them in a murder plot. And yes, she’s having way too much fun.

He hadn’t had a whore since before the war. He only had wine at meals and before bed and scaled that down enough to be presentable before his people. Tyrion was sober, and he was lonely. And he was tasked with the impossible.
He needed a wife.
He was perusing through a book on the lower houses of Westeros when Bronn had noisily sat himself on the other side of Tyrion’s desk, munching obnoxiously on an apple, and demanded to know what he was doing.
Tyrion groaned, adding the book to the pile in front of him. “If you must know, I’m in need of a wife. I’m looking through these books to find one ugly enough to agree to marry me.”
“Oh.” Bronn stopped chewing, brow furrowed. “Wait, aren’t you still married to that Stark girl?”
The newly-made Lord Lannister looked to the sky and grimaced.
“Fuck.”
And so, Tyrion Lannister rode for Winterfell.

Summary
It had been a short chapter -really only a few pages long- and Obi-Wan had always assumed that it was rare since that’s what the text had hinted out when they’d been explaining things.
Some of Stewjon’s citizens have evolved vocal cords that allow them to make noises that would otherwise be impossible for those of a different species. Things like a chirp, purr, or even a trill can be a sign of many things. Although rare, these involuntary signs can have many meanings…
Still, Obi-Wan hadn't been expecting his own men to be the ones to draw the noise out of him.
Or snapshots into Obi-Wan and the 212th Attack Batallion's day-to-day life, culminating in them finding each other through a series of slightly mortifying, definitely embarrassing, noises that escape Obi-Wan's mouth when he's excited or turned on.
