Something is wrong with me. Something that makes everything take more to do. Something that scrambles my mind, that gives me wild creativity but takes my ability to do much with it. Something that only skooma seems to help. As my mother once said - Akatosh blessed me with the soul and blood of a dragon, and Sheogorath cursed me, that I may not turn into Tiber Septim.
I have defeated Alduin, though as is my mind's wont, I have no idea what to do next.
All I want is a clear mind and a path forward to go with it, but the more I seek it the closer I get to a void that wants to consume everything I care about.
A void that is itself the explanation for why I am called the Last Dragonborn.

Summary
Balu, who had been transported into Skyrim by Akatosh and got a new Khajiit body, attempts to get settled in Whiterun. Together with his two adopted saber cats and partially with the Dragonborn, new challenges, dangers, and developments in the Civil War are coming up, and much more. Sequel to Book A (‘Balu in Skyrim – awakening and antagonizing’).
This story starts where the previous ended, and I strongly recommend to read the first story before you start with this one; eventually I hope that there will be a trilogy of ‘Balu’ books/stories.
I will try to keep chapters between 3k and 5k words, and I plan to publish a new chapter once a week initially, maybe moving to biweekly later.
Comments are greatly appreciated, even if they just point out some errors and inconsistencies I delivered. Even short typo hints are welcome!

TW for what could be considered a dubcon prompt.What happens when the DB or their companion get stoned or drunk? Do they get mean, sad, philosophical, touchy feely, affectionate? Or, since this is the kink-meme, do they get horny? Maybe they just talk all night.
One or both can be intoxicated, but if it's only one, I want them to be at least sensible and actually wanting the sex (if it goes that way) as opposed to being totally wasted.
Some characters that would be nice to see--Janessa, Vilkas, Teldryn, Brynjolf, Aela, Ralof.
Kinks are oral, handjobs/fingering, kissing, biting, frottage
Squicks are outright non-con, non-consensual violence, bathroom business, excessive blood, and death.
Rozenn the Breton and Ralof, early in the Stormcloak questline get stuck in a cave with no way out and only the local mushrooms to sustain them. Fortunately for them, Rozenn is an alchemist-in-training and recognises mushrooms from the Imperial province when she comes across them.
Shenanigans ensue.
