Lumine had an unrequited love for her husband.

Her husband Ajax never once looked at Lumine as a romantic option, just a comrade in a farce built to protect his massive inheritance and her freedom. The only girl he ever loved was a bright, distant star...
...Which also happened to be Lumine's alter ego. Lumine was the secret identity of Viatrix the magical girl who had been protecting Mondstadt from otherworldly darkness for years, all the while being pursued by a deranged villain who called himself Tartaglia.
Could Lumine evade Tartaglia while she unknowingly vied with her alternate persona for Ajax's attention? Or was he even closer than she imagined?

Childe returns as an adult, obsessed with finding the Abyss again and manages to get himself trapped in the dark. A certain young traveler comes to his aid, and in the aftermath of that rescue, he grows obsessed.
