Summary
Byleth knew a lot of things. She knew how to ride a horse, how to wipe a sword clean of blood, and how to hunt for food. She also knew how to fry eggs the way her father liked them, and how to steal his flask when he starts drinking too much. However, there was a lot she didn’t know. Her own age remained a mystery, as did the identity of her mother. Somehow, she had also gone her whole life without hearing a single utter of the Church of Seiros. Additionally, she had no idea how to talk to anyone who wasn’t Jeralt Eisner.
So, when Lady Rhea assigned her to teach a class of people (most likely) around her age, Byleth was left with a new challenge. She had always learned best by doing, so the hands-on approach wasn’t new to her. But before today, Byleth always had her father to at least give guidance, and she doubted Jeralt knew how to instruct a group of teenagers.

Honestly, Dimitri was not sure what courting had to do with it. Not in the slightest. The idea that if a man admired a woman’s skill he must have underlying, romantic intentions was, in Dimitri’s opinion, incredibly ignorant. Bordering on sexist. He said as much to Ingrid one day when they were on flying duty, expecting her of all people to agree. Which she did.
“You’re completely right,” she nodded, caressing the nape of her pegasus’ neck. “Although you and the Professor are a poor example,”
“Why is that?” frowned Dimitri.
“Because it is evident to anyone with eyes that you fancy her.”

It should have been an easy kill. A billionaire with few survival instincts and a reputation for being empty-headed in public. Even a baby Talon could handle such a simple mission, Talon thought while he listened in on the mission briefing—what little he could hear of it from his hiding place down the hall, at least. It would have been an easy kill, under better circumstances, except Talon didn’t know that his target somehow possessed combat skills that could rival even the oldest and most deadly Talons in the compound. Talon never stood a chance.
