There’s more than one Miraculous Box in the world, and the events of Feast left them scattered. Like the Promethea box, which somehow made its way to a thrift store in Gotham, New Jersey.
But that’s the past. In the present, Marinette is trying her best, and Lila is making everything worse. Hawkmoth and his Akumas are getting harder to beat, and Chat is getting more… difficult. She feels like Lila turned the whole class against her, and Adrien isn’t helping.
In a truly odd series of events, Chloe has started being nice? She feels like everything she knows has been flipped on it’s head. And to add to her stress, her cousin who she hasn’t seen in forever is coming to visit. Just what Marinette needed, a near stranger living in her house, and another person to hide her identity from.
When she meets her cousin though, they seem kinda odd. And they’ve got a familiar tattoo…
In other words, Marinette needs a support system and help from an older gaurdian who won’t get their memories wiped.

Mickey hears the clang of metal and shrinks into himself, wishing he could be closer to Nasha, wishing she could tuck him away inside like he sometimes fantasizes. “All T-bone’s gotta do is get Seventeen to spread his legs a little, and we’re all saved.” He crumples the paper up into a ball, ignores Timo’s cries of protest. When he throws it through the bars, it hits him in the chest, square. Mickey feels this small pit open up inside of him, this vacuum.

Mickey cuts a confused look over at Nasha. She shrugs, so Mickey turns back and shakes his head. “N-no, sir, no brothers. No family at all.”
“Huh,” he says. “You’re the spittin’ fuckin’ image – y’know what, see for yourself.” Then he looks over his shoulder and bellows, “BARNES! OI, BARNES! Get over here!"

That left the old lady quartet, the possible lesbian couple, and Jason to meet every Friday night, discussing the book of the month.
He loved it.
Jason joins a book club. This leads to more drama than expected.

Somewhere along the way, he must’ve fucked up since now he has:
A quirkless problem child hanging off of his every word
His best friend going through a sexuality crisis thanks to said problem child’s mom
His other best friend clinging to him like a security blanket
Some two-bit mob boss threatening him with bouquets of daffodils
To wring the number one hero’s fucking neck for not telling him anything useful before sending him decades into the past
All he did was walk Izuku Midoriya home. It wasn’t meant to turn into whatever mess this is.
