As the Avidya Forest burns, Tighnari is caught in the crossfire and left to protect those around him.
All Cyno can do is wait for his partner to turn up alive. “Alive” was to be taken lightly, as the fox was on the cusp of death by the time he’s brought to safety.They’re determined to make it through this, but not without a few bumps in the road.

After an incident involving an interrogation gone wrong, Cyno panics and is quick to seek AlHaitham’s aid. The pair return home and thanks to their loving partners, the day ends well, but not without some unforeseen bumps in the road.

Summary
AlHaitham was trying his best as a caregiver, he really was, but Cyno only ever wanted Tighnari. He does the best he can, up until his other boyfriends can swoop in to help, and only then does he realize he’s not as bad as he thought.

Summary
Vander, bless him, always asks him in that deep, rumbling voice of his that sends pleasant shivers down Silco’s spine. Silco imagines having to live without a lover to hold, without the warmth of a cuddly evening after the council meetings drain the energy from him. He could do it, of course. He’s lived without it for many years, but he loves Vander, and so he answers firmly, “Take me to bed, my Hound.”
He always excuses himself afterwards to give himself a few minutes alone to give in to the rippling waves of wrong beneath his skin before putting himself back together and crawling into Vander’s waiting arms. Vander never asks, and Silco never brings it up himself.
Or: Silco learns that Vander's love is unconditional and sex is not transactional.
