Pushing open the door to their shared room, Cheng Xiaoshi blinked in surprise to see Lu Guang back in their dorm, book in hand and stretched out on his bed. Wasn't he supposed to be at the coffee shop?
“Ha? Lu Guang, you’re back? I thought you went with Qiao Ling!?” He exclaimed, drawing the attention of the white-haired boy as he looked up from his book.
“Hm? No, Qiao Ling-jie had somewhere to go with Xu Shanshan, so I just stayed here” Lu Guang replied promptly, eyes returning to his current read and paying Cheng Xiaoshi no mind.
Cheng Xiaoshi blanched, “Wait wait wait, you mean this whole time you’ve been lounging here? Lu Guang you could’ve told me! I was suffering in that library you know? Everyone was so noisy-”
“Pot meets kettle is the phrase right now Cheng Xiaoshi. I thought you would feel right at home in the chaos.” Lu Guang commented dryly. Cheng Xiaoshi huffed in response and threw his bag onto his own bed which landed with a soft thud.
Or: some snippets of their lives during University and before their business started. Cue fluffy moments, chaotic messes and found family shenanigans.

It swallows him up. Wanting and longing and yearning, all blending together into the same thing. Synonyms for one another that don’t contrast. Doubt and fear and confusion.
Jongseong wraps his arms around him and sighs into his ear. “I’m right here, Hyung. You can relax now.”
Heeseung’s never been any good with words, and sometimes it kills him.
