Summary
Shane is the fearless leader of the Voyageurs tribe, looked up to and depended on by many people. A string of failed hunts and the risk of starvation for his tribe forces Shane to cross the river and encroach upon the feared territory of the Bears - a tribe notorious for their ruthless defence against intruders.
