Summary
That’s how he ends up with a mostly-full plate of onigiri for Zoro’s midday snack, staring with abject horror at the ball of rice he’s been molding by hand.
A heart shape. A heart. For Zoro.
A noise that can only be described as twin-to-a-dying-teakettle escapes Sanji’s mouth, his gaze shifting frantically between the sort-of heart-shaped rice he’s holding and the rest of the perfectly heart-shaped onigiri already displayed on the plate, topped with little pieces of sea king meat and furikake.
“This cannot be happening,” he moans, resting his forehead on the counter, hands still cupping the half-made onigiri in front of him like an empty prayer. “I’m gonna kill him.”
In which Sanji makes a few discoveries about his own feelings, and is treated to an unexpected gift.

Summary
It twists him, turns him, curls in his chest like something alive, something he knows but can’t dare to name. Chuuya curses the red-black petals that fall from his lips, these nearly rotten things that tear him apart from the inside out. Part of him wants to rip his own traitorous heart out, through a ribcage shattered by feelings he can’t contain.
Anger is easy, a thing he’s learned to control. This— whatever the hell this is— is not.
Or at least it’s easier to feel as though this is beyond his own control, because Chuuya is not in love.
(It feels like a lie even to himself.)
After he's hit by a strange ability, Chuuya is forced to consider truths he'd much rather keep hidden- but not everything is as simple it seems.

Summary
“You only smoke when you’re stressed.”
Chuuya stares flatly back at him, unamused. “Yeah, ‘cause you’re stressing me the fuck out, mackerel.”
And that’s the problem; he can’t keep his mouth shut, can’t just let the moment pass and leave without scratching at this old wound between them. Dazai’s selfish by nature, unable to resist the urge to cling to Chuuya one last time– a final reminder of what they used to be no matter how much he knows it must anger the other.
Will you mourn me when I’m gone?
As he drives aimlessly down the coast of Japan, Dazai intends to take his own life- determined to find a beautiful place to die. But a chance encounter with an old flame might change everything, because Chuuya isn't going to let him go so easily.

Summary
Atsushi takes the mug then, savoring the familiar heat against his hands, and takes a slow sip of the drink. It’s a cappuccino, he realizes, the familiar bitterness of espresso mixing with the slight sweetness of the steamed milk on his tongue.
“It’s really good!” Atsushi says cheerfully, taking another sip. Kill ‘em with kindness, he supposes, though maybe it would’ve been funnier to pretend he didn’t like it. And the coffee is delicious, but Akutagawa’s got a strange expression stuck on his face like he wasn’t expecting the reaction.
“What, did you want me to say it was bad?”
Atsushi's a barista who just wants a snack after a long day at work, and Akutagawa might have a bit of a problem with that.

Summary
As much as he still wants to lash out against him, Chuuya can’t bring himself to hate the man standing at his door. Even if he knows this must be calculated, that Dazai knows full well that Chuuya’s fatal flaw has always been his dogged loyalty to those he cares about, whether they deserve it or not. Knows too, in his heart of hearts, that he does still care for Dazai. Cares for him with the violence it often requires, even if his ex-partner isn’t afraid to use that to his advantage.
Those brown eyes– trained on him the entire time–light up the instant before Chuuya wavers, as he loosens his grip on the door with a sigh.
“If you bleed on my rug, I’ll kill you.”
Chuuya gets an unexpected knock at his door, and finds himself treating his ex-partner’s injuries.
