Summary
Having some time to themselves in a quiet and calm commune, Vi and Jinx get to spend time together and talk. And there's quite a lot to talk about. Plus, Isha gets to have two older sisters.

The fic takes place during s2 e6 downtime in the commune, before anything bad happens.
It turns out I keep on adding to it as I don't want to let go of this pure moment of them getting to be together for the last time (at least in the show). I will publish chapters when it feels right, as the whole thing lives in my google doc. I don't know how long or how often, I have no particular plans. Isha didn’t know. She didn’t have an answer. Jinx was her protector. Her sword and shield. She kept Isha safe and happy. She fed her and clothed her and gave her a whole place to sleep. Isha got toys and to play games. Jinx was safety and security and love.
She didn’t have a sign for it. There was never a need. It was Isha and Jinx and that was enough for them.

Jinx once told Isha that if she ever got into a tight spot, she could go to an address topside and look for the girl with pink hair. Isha had no idea who the pink-haired woman was, but when Jinx was kidnapped, Isha had to reach out for help, hoping the mysterious woman would help get Jinx back.

“Caitlyn,” she says. That isn’t right. That wasn’t the answer Vi was after. Names are easily given away but so seldomly remembered in Stillwater, but it echoes in Vi’s head. She almost doesn’t hear the actual answer. “And though I have no doubt a thousand people have given this answer before, I did nothing. I was doing my job, and then I was here. No trial. No sentencing. No crime to speak of.”
