"When the group before her - a band called Hate Potion she’d heard some word about prior - finished their set and filed off the stage, there was a buzz of chatter amongst the crowd as they winded down. It lasted for only a few minutes before she started to hear a low chant building louder and louder. She strained her ears to hear what they were saying. It sounded faintly like her own name…
Lily knew logically that that made complete sense, seeing as she was literally about to go perform in front of that very crowd, but oftentimes she had to mentally pinch herself to remember that this was her real life. A crowd of hundreds, maybe thousands, was calling her name because they wanted to hear her sing. Just then, a familiar low voice spoke in her ear, causing her to stiffen in preparation.
'I think they’re asking for you, Evans.'
She could practically feel the smirk in his tone, not to mention the warmth of his body against her back, prickling the hairs on her arm. She turned around to face James Potter, towering over her with his hands in his pockets and a sly grin on his face."

Summary
Three seconds. That was how long Lily let herself consider the thought of it, before she pushed it away and forced herself to think of something, anything else. One, there was his mouth, obviously, his lips and how they were slightly chapped and definitely capable of driving her mad by the words that came out of them so she could only imagine what else they could do. Two, his shoulders were broad and he insisted on wearing those stupid threadbare T-shirts so she could see the planes of his chest move beneath them when he laughed or stretched or did anything at all, because apparently she was dealing with some kind of Greek marble statue. Three, his hands, and there was no justification she could give to herself for why they transfixed her that couldn’t be seen with one look at them. And that was three, and she was done.
