Chrissy decides to accept Eddie's invitation to watch his band play and decides she's tired of being everyone's good little girl.
The sound of the door opening behind them startles them both. Two middle-aged men with beer stained shirts appear in the doorway, cigarettes dangling from their lips. Chrissy scrambles off of Eddie’s lap and tugs her skirt back down, mortified to have been caught in such a compromising position.
She’d allowed herself to lose control. Even worse, she’d liked how it felt and wants feel that way again, to stop worrying about everything so much and just start doing what she wants. But that doesn’t mean she can be so stupid about it.
“Can we… Can we go somewhere else?” she asks.
