    The following is what will happen as a result of the annulment of the marriage between Viserys of House Targaryen, First of His Name, King of the Andals, Roinar and First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm and Queen Aemma of House Arryn.

    Aemma of House Arryn will be named Lady of Dragonstone. The island of Dragonstone will come into the possession of Lady Aemma and following her death will pass to Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, daughter of Lady Aemma and King Viserys of House Targaryen. Following the passing away of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen the island will belong to her children and her children's children until the end of time. Daemon Targaryen, current Prince of Dragonstone, will retain his title.

    Dragonstone will be free to engage in trade with whomever it deems conducive to its economic growth. The island of Dragonstone and its inhabitants will have no duty to the Crown; consequently, they will not participate in any war, whether of attack or defence, or any situation that might endanger the stability of the island. In addition, it will not be required to pay any taxes to the Crown. The humiliation suffered by Lady Aemma and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen will be payment enough. However, the Crown will be required to pay a monthly fee equal to the monthly treasury belonging to the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

    Every artifact dating back to Ancient Valyria, living or inanimate, will be transferred to Dragonstone. This includes any dragon and every single egg. The artifacts will come into the possession of Lady Aemma and her successors. Anyone wishing to receive the opportunity to bond with a dragon or come into possession of an egg will have to fill out a formal request that will be approved or denied by Lady Aemma Arryn or her successors.

    Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen will live in the presence of her mother, Lady Aemma Arryn, on the island of Dragonstone. She will be free to visit her father, Viserys Targaryen, at any official event and at any time she wishes, Lady Aemma Arryn will be the only one who can decide about Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen's upbringing. The Crown will not be able to meddle in Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen's matters of the heart or choose a groom. The decision will be Lady Aemma Arryn's. In conclusion, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen shall have right of succession to her father's inheritance before any female child born of a marriage subsequent to that to Lady Aemma Arryn.

    All personal items of Lady Aemma Arryn and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen will follow them to Dragonstone. This includes any gifts or belongings. In addition, Lady Aemma Arryn's Ladies in Waiting may voluntarily decide to follow her to Dragonstone or remain in King's Landing as the future new queen's new Ladies in Waiting. Those who decide to follow Lady Aemma Arryn will be asked to sign a second documentation.

    The Prince of Dragonstone, heir to the Iron Throne and Commander of the City Watch, Daemon Targaryen, will join Lady Aemma Arryn and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen as their protector. The role of Commander of the City Guard will be given to Ser Harwin Strong, first son of Lyonel Strong and Master of the Laws, King Viserys Targaryen will grant the annulment of the marriage between the Prince of Dragonstone, Daemon Targaryen and the Lady Rhea Royce of Runestone. The marriage is devoid of consummation and itself null and void.

    Lady Aemma Arryn, as well as her previous husband, King Viserys Targaryen, may decide to marry and take a husband again. Lady Aemma Arryn will be able to celebrate her new, eventual nuptials only one month after King Viserys Targaryen's nuptials. Finally, King Viserys Targaryen will wait the minimum time of one month from the signing of this contract to announce the identity of his future bride. Lady Aemma Arryn will not be required to attend the wedding.

    “What difference would it have made? The match had already been arranged before Daemon even learned of it. And when he did speak out against the match, you made sure he could not run away.”

    “Do you truly think that had Daemon said you two wished to marry, I would not listen?”

    Gael had no way of knowing that, had she? The idea of marrying Gael had likely never even occurred to Daemon before he had grown desperate enough so she shrugged wordlessly.

    “Very well. How long have you planned this, then?”

    Gael could feel the corners of her lips twitch. Plan? They had not planned anything. “There was no plan. I just did what Daemon asked when he asked it.”

    Her father growled. “Then how long have you had your mind set on marrying Daemon?”

    That was an interesting question, wasn’t it? Her eyes left the ground to point at the ceiling as she pondered it. Daemon had likely never even thought of it but Gael… She shrugged again. “Since it was decided that Viserys would wed poor Aemma.”

    Her father choked. “Poor Aemma will be the queen someday!”

    Gael nodded agreeably as her eyes returned to the ground. She would be. But she would also be wed to Viserys still so poor Aemma she would remain.
