"Remind me what day it is today?"
"Its friday."
"The date, I meant."
"The 14th of February, if we're going by the local calendar." Ratio still hasn't even looked at him.
"Right."
There is a silence between the two.
"You know whats usually celebrated on February 14th?" Aventurine starts again.
"Commonly, the 14th is known as Valentine's day, traditionally a day to celebrate romance and love. Many couples may choose to spend the day together and give each other flowers or chocolate as a token of affection." Ratio explains, still not looking at him.
"Right."
Another silence.
Aventurine stretches in his chair. "What a shame I have nobody to celebrate with..."
"Oh?" Ratio finally perks up and looks at him, head slightly tilted. "The dinner reservation for two I made for the evening suggests otherwise. Or was I mistaken and should cancel it?"

Summary
Dr. Veritas Ratio might have developed a bit of a thing for her annoying, blond little coworker. Not because they went on a single dinner date... which, in her defense, she had not even properly considered a date until it was pointed out to her after the fact.
No, it's because they've apparently been going on dates for years now, and she's only just now realizing it as she's allowing Aventurine to top for the first time and feeling, as they say, some kind of way about it.

Summary
“Interesting that you would jump to the conclusion that I wished to bed your companion," Jing Yuan observed. "Would you believe my original question was merely intended to learn more about the two of you? You make a fascinating pair.”
“Do not make the mistake of insulting my intelligence, General.” Ratio was having a difficult time holding himself back from saying anything that might endanger the goodwill of the Luofu. “Your interest in him is plain.”
Jing Yuan seemed to regard Ratio then with a mixture of mutual respect and faint amusement.
“No,” he admitted, a wry, catlike smile creeping across his face. “You’re not wrong, Doctor. You’re just not entirely right, either.”
Ratio finds himself on his knees at the receiving end of a scintillating scheme orchestrated by his so-called business partner. One that vastly complicates his view of Aventurine's intentions towards him, and reveals just what (or who) Ratio is willing to do for Aventurine in turn.

Summary
"Few people know how to truly relax," Ratio says, perched on the edge of Aventurine's desk. It makes his thighs double in size. Aventurine's thoughts begin to scatter. "Relaxation is a process. As such, naturally there are practical, step-by-step instructions to achieve it.”
"Right," he says, forcing his gaze away. "My, doctor, could one take a guess and assume that some of the relaxation you're referring to is of the more…” He flicks his fingers. “Intimate kind?”
Something curious happens: Ratio stalls. He averts his gaze as his cheeks dust over with pink.
He recovers quickly, however, coughing into his palm and resuming right where he left off. “It would be inane to exclude the potential of intimacy.”
Aventurine is stressed. The knowledgeable Dr. Ratio offers an expert, thorough, only slightly self-indulgent solution.
