Summary
Sebastian Vettel wants to win. Since his first taste of victory in Monza in 2008, he is determined to chase that high again, no matter the cost. With his contracts signed for the next season, Vettel will be in the main team now, an official member of RBR Renault. He had a very clear path in mind: Win more and grab the championship. Nothing ever mattered as much to him as winning, but as the competition makes of his teammate Mark Webber his main rival, the complications of such relationships start to weigh on him.
What happens when both collide on and off track?Mark Webber is not a rookie anymore. Hasn't been for a very long time, and so having to deal with his reckless and dangerous teammate causes more headache than he was expecting. When the blond boy cannot stop himself from making Mark's life actual hell, and Webber finds himself in the constant cups of disadvantage with his team, tension flares all around. Both drivers keep running into each other, causing anger and annoyance to turn into something much more complicated. But Mark needs to win, and Vettel won't make it easy.

When he shows the rest of his family, his mother’s chopsticks clatter to the table, and when Zuko looks to his father, his eyes are wide with shock.
His grandfather speaks first, the head of the table, and approval runs thick through his tone: “Well, look at that. A true prodigy, wouldn’t you agree, Ozai?”

...
Or, Gil-galad isn't entirely sure why the sons of Eärendil insist on keeping the last two Fëanorions around, but he is sure that it's all going to end in tears. Given that the sons of Eärendil in question don't feel the need to justify themselves to him, it takes a while for understanding to dawn.

Himring is probably the coldest place that Maeglin has ever been.
He tries to put away that thought, and not to shiver very visibly as he glances up through his lashes at Maedhros Fëanorion. Terrible and fell, his father had always said were the sons of Fëanor, and Maeglin can believe it. Of course, his mother’s stories had been different. But they had been few and far between.
Above, Maedhros shifts forwards in his high seat with a slight rustling of heavy robes, and Maeglin trembles involuntarily. Out of the cold, he promises himself. Only the cold.
“You wish to leave Gondolin,” rasps the lord of Himring, with no small amount of incredulity in his voice. “To come here?”

It was raining and there was no one waiting for him.
Fëanáro had known the second part would be true, but he had not expected his first steps out of the Halls to be met with cleansing water. A final insult, perhaps, that it was not even a dreadful thunderstorm that shook the world with a warning of the peril that now walked freely through these blessed lands, but rather a quiet lament. A light drizzle that would take long to so much as soak his white clothes. He hated this, how clean he seemed clad in these soft robes. Gentle rain drops trickling down his arms, past his unfamiliar, uncalloused hands, and coming out clear. As if he had indeed washed away the blood that had long stained his skin, his soul.
