“Please, act normal.” Dan Heng found himself sighing as he sat up. Still, he reached out to her, caressing her cheek gently when she leaned in to his touch. “...What are your plans today?”
“Hah! I knew you’d forget, too!” Stelle smirked, and with a swift motion, she pounced on him, wrapping her arms around his neck.
Instinctively, he held onto her waist to steady her as she sat on his lap. “Stelle, be careful. How many times do I have to tell you–”
She ignored him as she flailed around. “Before we went to Amphoreus, you also promised me you’d take me out on a real date! Our first date! Now that everything’s over, surely, the great Earth demigod won’t break a promise like that, right?”
Or: Dan Heng and Stelle went on their first date! And maybe even more.

Stelle’s wrapped in his arms, so close that the heat of her Stellaron warms him from the inside out. His tail is draped gently over her legs. And she’s breathing, her chest rising and falling in tandem with his own.
His throat closes. He doesn’t trust himself to speak.
Instead, Dan Heng leans in, brushes Stelle’s bangs to the side, and kisses her forehead.
