Summary
Frank's worked hard to build a life for himself in the city of Jersey, where dragons swoop and dive over the river, and every day is divided by the ringing of the city bells. He knows the streets of the city like he knows the the tattoos on the backs of his hands, and he's content with what he has: a job as a bike courier, friends who love to give him shit, and a crush on a professor of art history at the local university.
But he's also got a secret—one he's been running from for a long time. But all it takes is one delivery to a mysterious, quite-probably-magical bookshop to show Frank that there are some things you can’t outrun. Especially since he’s finally found a place that he doesn’t want to leave.

Edit 13.11.2025: wow! This universe really captured me. The story was unbelievably beautiful and the universe it took place in was so interesting. I’d love to read more about them and their lives but I’m also very happy to make those stories up myself. Really, a wonderful story about trust, finding yourself and the good in people

Summary
After being left at the altar some years ago, Gerard has faced nothing but humiliating pity and smothering from his eccentric family. When Mikey announces he's getting married in California and hosting a grand family vacation at a resort, Gerard can't stand the thought of having to endure the same routine all over again. Until Ray plants a crazy but brilliant idea in his head— hiring Frank Iero, a gorgeous date escort, to pose as his fake boyfriend to finally get his family off his back and put an end to the excessive coddling. A week of Christmas cheer by the sea, bubbling family drama, and pretending a kiss or two under the mistletoe is only for show even if Gerard's heart is pounding the entire time.

Oh this was so wonderful! All the best tropes and so well written! Even though I must have read hundreds of fake/pretend relationship fics they still manage to make me go crazy over the trope and this one I’ll definitely remember for a long time. Their relationship was so sweet and caring and I felt the love pouring out of them

Of all the things Gerard ever expected to come out of starting a band, Frank running a dating agency is maybe the last thing that would have occurred to him.
Which just goes to show how much he knows.

Made me giggle and mentally yell at them throughout. So lovely and such well paced and realistic dialogue. Also fake/pretend relationships are always so unbelievably good!

Meaningless hookups are easier than dating when you’re a werewolf. That is, until your brother sets you up on a blind date with someone you’ve already *ahem* ‘seen’ before.

So wonderful! Really well written, such good characterisation, I never wanted it to end, it gave me all the good heartaches, and the plot never got boring. Just fantastic!

Summary
(Late 19th century AU)
Frank is the son of a merchant, with no money, and no title. But he's smart, and he enjoys teaching, so when the opportunity arises for him to help with the two children of a particularly wealthy family, he decides it is worth the risk. The children are precocious, outspoken and they quickly become his favourite students. Their slightly peculiar uncle, however, is the real mystery for him.
