Summary
After spending the summer together, Fred and Hermione are called back to London when Harry gets himself into a spot of trouble. Quickly, Hermione finds herself split between helping the twins with their shop, supporting Harry and now being pulled into helping Sirius prove his innocence. Not to mention somehow being in the middle of everyone’s relationship drama.
While apart, Fred and Hermione work to help their friends while it seems like the world is beginning to fall apart around everyone. Between over-controlling professors, the questionable truth regarding the rise of the Dark Lord, and inching closer to being thrust into the life of adulthood— the year apart seems like it's never going to end.

Summary
Jim stepped out onto the floor around noon, stretching out his back while hearing that little voice in his head (that sounded a bit like Joyce) not to sit so damn long next time. He certainly wasn't getting any younger.
Flo wasn't at the front desk; she must have taken her turn in the filing room. Chrissy was still there however, and gave Jim a consolatory sort of grin that had Jim grimacing back at her.
"Not a word, Munson."
The cheeky thing gives him a little salute before reclining in her own hard-backed chair, "Yes'sir, Chief."
Jim just rolls his eyes, "That husband of yours is giving you some bad habits, Chrissy."
Chrissy laughs, one hand holding onto her desk while the other stretches behind her to try and snag a loose file someone had left there, "Yeah, well, he also gave me a back massage this morning, so who's laughing now, Hop?"

Hopper makes it his mission to keep an eye on Chrissy at work.

“Honey, what’s wrong?” Eddie rushes to help, not sure what was happening, “Is something off?”
“No,” Chrissy moans, tears gathering on her cheeks, “...I don’t like bread!”
“...Bread? Really?” Eddie asks, grabbing the sandwich from Chrissy before she chucks it in the trash too. This one at least he can finish off.
Chrissy whines, “I liked bread. I wanted to marry bread. Now I’ll have to call off the wedding.”
Eddie snorted into his leftover sandwich so hard, he’s pretty sure a chunk of it was stuck in his nose for the rest of the day.

Chrissy is having a hard time with cravings during her pregnancy. Eddie is having an even harder time trying to avoid her unpalatable foods.

His wife gives him a menacing glare, even as she points towards the kitchen and the phone with the long extension cord, “Now I have to return those themed pyjama onesies Robin and I found. Go get the phone, Edward.”

Everything is a mess, even before she learns she's a miracle. Add in a bitchy IA detective using the threat of a criminal investigation to manipulate her into an uncomfortable undercover op and the looming specter of the criminal organization her ex-fiance left behind, and Chloe could really use a partner. She used to have one of those, right? So, yeah, maybe a deal with the devil is in order...
