In contrast to his crisp dry English, Q's pronunciation of the French words was fluid and flawless, the throaty tone of the fricatives sending a surprising jolt of awareness straight to Bond's cock — all the more remarkable given his degree of blood loss.
"You're wasted on Q-branch, you have the voice for a phone-sex call-in line." The words slipped out of Bond's mouth without forethought, although he had plenty of time to think in the sudden pause that came afterward and stretched on for endless moments. Bond hadn't realized until now how Q was always there, with an immediate reply. In all their banter Q had never before been at a loss for words. Ever.

Summary
Nylah is homeless and has no family and therefore no name. She is from Egypt; she secured passage on ship bound for Israel and then bartered passage with a Caravan, to Damascus. There she remained homeless, stealing food locally and working where she could for money. She slept in a different place every night, avoiding violence from the disgruntled locals. Damascus was a big place and Nylah managed to blend into the shadows.
This was previously posted on FF.Net in 2009-ish so the quality of writing is nowhere near as good as the stuff that I post now but I just felt like digging it up out of the archives and putting it out there again because I like the idea and I'd quite like to finish the series. Enjoy and I apologise for the awful writing in advance. I might pick back over it and see if there's anything I can do about that.Series

When Rinzler chases after Sam and Quorra from the lightcycle arena, his second baton isn't another lightcycle, it's a jet, and he's able to pursue Sam into the Outlands. The chase doesn't end well for anyone, and Sam and Rinzler find themselves swept out to the edge of the system. They must form an uneasy alliance to get back to the city, and neither of them are happy about it. But as they travel, Sam begins to unravel some of the tangled strings of code that make his unwanted companion, and discovers that there's more to this program than a killing machine.
A.k.a., Sam and Rinzler are stranded in the wilderness and passions flare. Based on the movie lore, not much from the other Tron media.
