Summary
The loved ones want us to live. The loved ones convinced Harry not to sacrifice himself. He instead made a deal with Tom, offering whatever he had for his life and peace.
Five years later, Harry is a Quidditch star, happy and carefree, even if some people call him a traitor for handing the Ministry in the hands of the You-Know-Who. But Harry doesn't care about much at this point. And there's no You-Know-Who or Voldemort or The Boy Who Lived as far as Harry is concerned.
And everything is peachy until the Minister of Magic wishes him to grow up finally and undertake his responsibilities. So they struck another deal. And Harry's life changes again.
Because Kreacher is persistent, and Hermione isn't always right.
Because Malfoys can just grow on you, and peacocks are kinda pretty.
Because the Minister is hot, and the Statue of Secrecy is broken.

Summary
Following Voldemort’s return, Harry and Theo must navigate their new relationship as the wizarding world turns on Harry, and visions of the graveyard and the Department of Mysteries plague him. Dumbledore is speaking to Harry and telling him about the Order of the Phoenix’s mission — too bad the Order is as useless as ever. Almost as useless as the Ministry, who have gotten their claws into Hogwarts, ignoring Voldemort’s return and forcing Harry further and further into the political spotlight (something Theo seems to enjoy too much for Harry’s liking). But things can only get better from here, right?

The letter feels like a stone in his bag, pulling at him. Realistically, it’s a tiny scrap of a thing, a one-letter page from his youngest sister, asking him to come back and meet his first niece. In a family like his, with one son and four daughters, the reverse appears to have happened in the next generation, with seven boys before a girl finally came along. It’s a big event, the first girl of the new generation. It’s an event that their family is gathering to celebrate.
It’s an event that Jaskier is absolutely terrified of.
