Summary

Wei Ying's mouth twitches in a bemused smile. He caresses Lan Wangji's cheek with his knuckles for a long moment, and watches Lan Wangji lean into it; then, sudden as a flame touched to kindling, anger blossoms in his eyes. He takes his hand away.
"Too little, too late, isn't it?" he asked. "After all, I'm already dead."
The Wen were, during Wei Wuxian's death, truly wiped out. Lan Wangji has long resolved to follow Wei Ying without question if he ever returns to the world, but when that resurrection occurs he finds himself serving a bitter and mistrustful Wei Wuxian with far more on his mind than returning to life quietly—and treading painfully in the shadow of Wei Ying's beloved Ghost General.

Vox and Valentino are Velvette's dads - or at least that's the kinky roleplay Val wants to try. And they're not co-parenting, obviously, where's the drama in that? They'll each try to prove ownership of their girl by any means necessary (sex) while Velvette, presumably, reaps the benefits. But when the other two grudgingly agree to participate, the contrived scenario hits a nerve for each of them; sparking fear, jealousy, anger, and raising shadows of the past.
...At least it's still hot as fuck.

Vox could tell her that she’s being stupid. Vette has a dozen pillows, a weighted blanket and a white noise machine in her own room in the tower; she’d have a better shot there than here.
But she’s… choosing–to stay with him. Not for business’ sake and long after sex. Vox still doesn’t know what to do with that.
He clears his throat.
“I can help you fall asleep.”
Or; Velvette has a big day tomorrow but can't put down her phone for long enough to fall asleep. Vox suggests hypnosis as a solution, which requires some mild talking-into. Is it 'being manipulative' when she knows what he's doing and it's for a good cause?

Angel sits on Vox’s lap and rocks his ass in tune with the music, just enough to make Vox hum with interest–yet when Angel takes his hands and places them over his thighs, Vox immediately opens his eyes.
“What the fuck is this?” Vox can’t even pretend to hide his contempt as he looks at Angel’s back. It’s clearly not disgust, no matter how much Vox huffs and puffs and snaps his hands away from Angel’s thighs as if they’d burnt him.
“A treat,” Val answers, taking a long drag of his cigarette and letting out a thick cloud of red smoke.
