Suguru isn’t extremely religious, doesn’t believe in God specifically but he does believe there is something out there, and whatever or whoever that might be, he really would’ve appreciated a warning for how he would end up desperately wanting to fuck the living shit out of his undoubtedly straight but unfortunately extremely attractive roommate. “Oh, I’m sorry,” Satoru says and reaches to shake his hand. “Right. Nice to meet you,” Suguru says hesitantly. A thought comes to Suguru; what if the man is partially blind and couldn’t see his hand? That could explain why he’s wearing sunglasses in a damn building. Shit, I just looked like a douche waving my hand around impatiently.
“Geto, nice to meet you,” Suguru chirps with a smile, and Satoru gives a fake one right back. They discuss the book for a few minutes with Ms. Todo before Satoru decides he’s ready to go home. He still has to go home and grade papers and the last thing he wants to do is stay longer talking to this guy. However, his insight into the book is very interesting…which surprises Satoru because he didn’t think the guy could read.
