Very few things change, unsurprisingly. They don’t even talk about it for a good few weeks, until Osamu comes home with the calling card of a local florist.
“Oh right,” Keiji says, a bit stupidly. It’s almost astounding how little things have changed. Between grading papers, dealing with the changes in the curriculum, and his editing work, there’s so little time to think about a wedding.
Osamu only laughs, feeding into Keiji’s suspicions that it’s sort of slipped his mind as well. It’s so… unromantic that it almost circles back into being sweet.
