Summary
Max was stunned silent, mouth dropped open in shock as he looked up at Charles.
Yes, look up from where he was currently knelt below Charles, who was looking awfully smug above him. That fucker knew the entire time, didn't he?
And the room. Max had seen it a moment before and had blinked at it for a second too long, but now in the centre of the decorations, Max understood.
This was a proposal.
There were rose petals shaped in a heart on the floor, candles dripping wax onto their floors, a ring, pushed into his hand. Oh god, this was a proposal.
Max was proposing to Charles without even realising they were dating.
He groaned.
OR: How Max accidentally started dating his lifelong rival, Charles Leclerc.

Summary
It was night when Charles won his first championship.
The crowd roared in a wave of rosso corsa, bleeding for him as he drank down glittering swallows of gold. The spotlights shone down from above, and if he squinted just right he could pretend it was the middle of the day.
But it wasn't.
It was night and he was inconsolable.

Summary
Oliver Bearman Leclerc had never told anyone his last name.
With a family history bathed in blood since his parents disappeared after the most historic crash in F1 history, he didn't know how to tell everyone that he was their son.
Yes, the son of the two greatest rivals the sport had seen. The son born from a relationship so secret his parents had died before revealing it. At least- they had almost died, but no one else knew that.Or: Rivals Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen have been presumed dead for decades before their son, Ollie Bearman enters F1 and they decide to let some secrets come to light.
Or: The 5 times they almost revealed themselves to the world, and the 1 time they did.

Summary
It was that time of year again.
It was towards the end of the season, and Max wasn't home.
Last year, Max had spent the entire weekend break on the simulator in their apartment, eyes locked on the same track, going around and around and around in dizzying spirals. When he had finished, he would fall asleep, exhausted, on their bed. Some days, Charles would come home to see him asleep on the chair of the sim itself.
Each day, Charles would come home later and later, distract himself longer and longer. Max was always asleep when he returned.
But even then, when Max had been his most distant, he had been there. At home.
This year, Max wasn't.
or: The unravelling of a Formula One driver's hidden relationship from the perspective of the person he left behind, Charles Leclerc.
