Rumi, on the other hand, was still processing what she had heard. Talking to Baby Saja felt oddly like she was talking to.. A human?

did i just spend more than 2 hours reading and analyzing every word in a fan fiction that also doubles as a philosophy lecture and going down a rabbit hole of philosophy while trying to understand the concepts fluently, and am now currently 4 hours into watching philosophy analyses and actually reading shit about philosophy? maybe. ohh hmy aeons this is so majestic. like, actually majestic. the writing is amazingly beautiful and gorrjfhjdjjdnjeofk the characterization, the struggles that ratio went through being made clear, stating his feelings throughout his life in such a gorgeous manner i actually had to stop and stare at my ceiling trying to comprehend how well written this is??? my favourite line has got to be "That was what Ratio needed. He can watch aventurine from afar, see him with other people, but if he lets the professor love him, that's all that matters." and "Ratio would lie if he said that he had never thought about suicide. Of course he did, and he goes out of his way to take care of aventurine so he doesn't feel alone — not like Veritas felt for years". oh my aeons, these lines just explains the whole dynamic between aventurine and ratio, ratio's true feelings and thoughts, and AHBGHGHECHYYRF aeons, this also explains so many philosophical concepts incredibly clearly, im actually mesmerized.

oh. My Aeons. i literally have no words. genuinely one of the best characterizations of ratio ive ever read. i don't even know how to bookmark properly, but im just putting everything i love here. oh my FUCJJXJ MAN. ratio's character is explored so well and has so much depth in this. holy shit. i may have skipped the smut part, but this is literally a perfect balance of teaching, character depth exploration, a deep dive into aventio at its core, and... nah i have no words. gorgeous. beautiful. will read again.
