Summary

Summary
Jim becomes a ward of the Vulcan state to recover from Tarsus IV. After living in such a strict culture Jim finds himself involved in work that expresses his physical passions. Finding a new life as an adult will be difficult after the fact and one where Spock continually becomes more or less permanent does not make it any easier.
Life is complicated and cruel in many ways and dealing with the pressure of life while Jim and Spock avoid the destined truth of who they are meant to be with only causes more pain.
Life begins after Tarsus IV.
Life begins again after Riyeht-aitlun.
Life begins again after the Klingon-Federation War.
And life will begin again after Vulcan.
