Their competitiveness is fierce, to be certain, but surely, Hollander would be the bigger person, no? “This is my fucking room, Rozanov. Wild horses couldn't drag me away.”
OR: Ilya's apartment is under construction. Shane's in town for a game. It'd be a shame if they somehow had the same hotel room.

Izuku watches him now, as Kacchan twirls a pencil in his right hand in front of him. Izuku is two seconds away from scolding him for lack of public decency. Especially when Kacchan reaches for his water bottle and unscrews the cap, the bottle and lid tiny in his hands, tendons flexing casually in a way that is, quite frankly, obscene.

Summary
He’s afraid of mistaking Kacchan’s friendship for something it’s not. Sometimes Kacchan moves like he wants to take things a step further. He’ll stare at Izuku for long bouts of time when he thinks Izuku’s not paying attention.
His friends are convinced Kacchan is also into him and is too scared to make a move, but that doesn’t make any sense. Kacchan is always straightforward with what he thinks, if he really wanted to be with Izuku he would just say so. Right?
There’s only one reason left that Izuku can think of realistically that’s holding Kacchan back but he can’t explain it to anyone else. Because then that means facing something Izuku isn’t ready to acknowledge out loud.

Katsuki and Izuku are pretty much joint at the hip after the war, and it's pretty obvious to everyone they're in love, except for Kacchan and Izuku.
Or
Izuku deals with his insecurities about not having a quirk anymore and learns to accept that he's loved anyway.
