“Bl-Blazer, wait—” he calls out and struggles, chains clanging together. "Blazer, come back, I-I can—”
“You can what, Bob Bob? Pass out and fall on your dumb face?”
The air in Robert’s lungs leaves him all at once.
He had expected Blonde Blazer.
He had not expected to see six familiar criminals standing in the doorway.

Summary
He pushes the door open and the room inside is just as black as the Void. His breath is even more visible and his pajamas seem like they’re mere scraps of cloth for how the air chills him. He has to squint to see the floor and bed, and when the shadows fade enough, he’s able to make out the curled up form on it. His chest aches as he gets closer and sees how twisted the sheets are around her, how her hands are clenched into fists, how her face is contorted in grief.
Nightmare, Bob thinks sadly.

The Thunderbolts are settling in as a team. They all have things that haunt them, things they'd rather forget. And when those things get too strong, too overwhelming, they work together to help each other. Bob has noticed one member doesn't like to open up and his powers uncover the reason why. -

Summary
He’s able to get the words “You wouldn’t believe the line at Larry’s, it was to the curb—” out before his gaze catches on something huge. He stares and his grin freezes and his brain does this funny thing like it’s been stalled.
It’s tall and sharp and black and has too many angles and too many shadows, and Noel feels that old, familiar primal sensation of fear run through his entire body.
He drops the sandwiches and grabs the nearest object in one breath, which happens to be a cookbook and throws it with all his strength at the creature standing too close, way too close to Arthur.
___Noel's pretty calm when it comes to most things. He knows how to keep that voice, the little panicky one that pops up when he gets anxious, quiet. Will that cool demeanor remain intact when he visits the boys and sees something he wasn't meant to, something that reminds him of his past?

Summary
By the ninth day, Arthur had gone from restless to bored out of his mind.
"We have to do something new."
“And what exactly would that be?"
"I don’t know. But we have to do something, John. We’ve started snapping at each other like when Parker and I had to stay at a shitty motel for a case and share a bed and bathroom."
“It’s not that bad.”
“You yelled at me for rubbing my eye too much the other day and last night I grabbed your hand because you were tapping it too loudly.”
“...You have a point.”
___Arthur's a little banged up, so what better to fix that than a luxurious stay at a cultist-killing castle! He has everything he could ask for, a curse-free body, clean clothes and water that hasn't been tainted with the blood of corpses! What more could you want?

Summary
“Where are we? I thought I was going to the Break Room.”
“We won’t be going there today. We’re trying something new.”
“Something new?” he parrots.
“I know you’re a good worker. And I know you want the best for your team.” Milcheck smiles at him. “But Ms. Cobel feels that you haven’t taken your role seriously and she wants you to know that you need to. So, you’ll be spending some time in the Sensory Room.”
____Mark and the gang get caught exploring Lumon's halls again. He's expecting the usual punishment, but Cobel has a different method in mind. After all, as the department head, Mark needs to be able to handle the consequences of his and his team's actions.

Summary
He doesn’t tell her the hug hurts.
He doesn’t tell her how his muscles screamed at the sudden, strong pressure, how his lungs ached, nor how he went lightheaded for a split second. No, he doesn’t tell Minkowski any of that.
Besides, the hug had been nice.
Eiffel didn’t tell his crew a lot of things.
___
The aftermath of Doug's own space adventure. He's doing alright, all things considered. He got back in one piece and only got a little freezerburn on his extremities. He's ready to get back in the saddle and do his job!
If only his crew would get that through their heads.

Summary
“He should wake soon.”
That’s what Yorick had told him. After Arthur had initially awoken, screaming in agony and gasping with terror. He’d told John that, assured him of that. Because the talisman had brought him back and would heal him, would make him better.
Fucking load of shit, John seethes and taps his claws on the same rotten wooden table he’s been tapping for the past five hours.
___
The aftermath of the boys' encounter with the Witch, wherein John struggles with his new body and worry for his partner.

“Fine. I will take your bed.”
Jayce smiles.
“But only if you also sleep in it."
Huh?
___
Jayce gets out of a meeting, stressed and sick of politics, only to find Viktor passed out in their lab. He manages to convince his partner to leave and stay over his apartment, but with the man so close, Mr. Progress finds it hard to keep his distance and hide his feelings.

Summary
The knock comes three weeks after Stanford goes through the portal.
Stanley only hears it because the fan stopped working sometime in the night. He jolts in bed and groans, squinting against the brightness of the sun and praying it won't continue so he can get some more sleep.
Amazingly, it does.
He sighs and lays his head back down…
…only to hear a panicked, male voice yell out, “Stanford? Are you there?" and more knocking join in, sounding like the person was trying their best to break it down.
Oh, for fuck’s sake.
__
Stanley is stuck in his not-dead-but-maybe-actually-dead-because-he's-stuck-in-another-fucking-dimension brother's house.
He has no idea what he's doing and is fighting the urge to take a crowbar to the portal every hour.
Good thing a certain worried, former assistant comes to check on a colleague.

Summary
He watches light float in through the windows from cars and streetlights. He ignores the slurred rambling of bar-hoppers and conversation of late-night workers that cross under their apartment. He smells the soap Arthur used to wash up and the odor of smoke and gasoline from the lifted window.
John inhales all of it, holds it, and lets it out.
The body that was once his lays four inches from him.
And he wishes he could return to it.
-
John gets a body.
He now has to deal with not being in Arthur's.
